In seeking the blessings of Allah Subahanahu Wataala for the safety and smooth running of the ceremonies and events held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 72nd birthday celebration, members of the relevant committee yesterday afternoon held a Reading of Ratib Al-Attas.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doktor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs as the Chairman of the National Committee for His Majesty's 72nd birthday celebration. The function began with a mass Sunat Hajat prayer followed by the reading of Ratib Al-Attas and Fardhu Asar prayer. Also in attendance were members of the Legislative Council.
