42 Primary 6 pupils from the Delima Satu Religious School were celebrated in a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony. Yesterday afternoon's ceremony was held at the Dewan Utama, Islamic Dakwah Centre.

The ceremony began with the reading of surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, followed by the reading of surah Adh-Dhuha up to surah An-Nas as well as reading of takhtim. The function was held to encourage pupils to always read the Quran correctly and fluently as well as ensuring they complete the reading of 30 chapters of Al-Quran before completing Primary 6 of religious schooling.
