Various religious activities have been carried out throughout the 5-year establishment of the Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Sungai Akar, and the involvement of mosque takmir committees, youths and mosque muslimahs have played a part in making these activities a success. The Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism urged committee members to continue carrying out such activities for the development of congregants. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, as the Patron of the Mosque Takmir Committee, made the call last night during the presentation of appointment letters to members of the mosque committee.

The ceremony began with mass Maghrib prayer, mass Sunat Hajat prayer and Doa Kesyukuran in conjunction with the mosque's 5 years of establishment. Also present was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
