Country's Haj Management Delegation Departs For Saudi Arabia

A 13-member delegation comprising of 5 Haj Administration officers and 8 Haj Medical officers left for Saudi Arabia last night. The delegation will make early preparations for haj affairs management together with the relevant parties prior to the arrival of the country's intending haj pilgrims in the holy city.
Present at the Brunei International Airport were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minsiter of Health. The delegation was led by Awang Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohammad, Head of Brunei Darussalam Haj Management for Administration and Doctor Haji Mahmud Shauqi bin Haji Mahmud Saedon, Head of Brunei Darussalam Haj Management for Medical. Also in attendance were Awang Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, Awang Roslan bin Haji Tajaah, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Doctor Haji Zulaidi bin Haji Abdul Latif, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Professional at the Ministry of Health, Awang Maswadi bin Haji Mohsin, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Management at the Ministry of Health and Awang Haji Mohd Seruddin bin Haji Timbang, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
