Awang Haji Mohd Zamree bin Haji Junaidi, the Acting Belait District Officer representing the citizens and residents in Belait in the speech of gratitude and loyalty expressed their most heartfelt thanks for His Majesty's consent to grace the Get-together and Junjung Ziarah ceremony.

More than 470 people participated in the special performance carrying the theme, "Kasih Rakyat Untuk Raja Yang Berkat" or "The People's Love for the Blessed Monarch".  They comprised students of primary and secondary schools, colleges and institutes of higher learning, youths and the communities in the Belait District.

The concept of the show was appreciation through creative genre reading.   It was also displayed in a sketch accompanied by traditional and modern music.  Reflecting its theme, the special performance depicted the people's loyalty and love towards the Monarch.

The showcase was further enhanced by presentation of speeches from the residents of the Belait District and Bruneian students studying abroad.

A performance depicting two Simpur flowers with five petals and seven leaves was performed together with the presentation of a musical-bilingual poetry that expressed the love and gratitude of all the country's people for all the facilities and assistance provided by His Majesty's Government.

A choir performance showcased the people's highest appreciation and great love of His Majesty's wise leadership.  The choir was performed by the winners of the National Day Choir Competition organised by the Information Department.

The grand finale of the Get-together and Junjung Ziarah ceremony combined all the participants in a unified movement depicting values that support the theme of the performance.
