His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience His Excellency Ra'afat Abdullah Al-Sabbagh, Special Advisor at the Royal Court, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, King of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

During the Audience Ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam received a formal invitation to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  Accompanying His Excellency was Mr. Hussain Mohammed Al-Dajani, Charge D' Affaires at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam. Also present at the Audience Ceremony was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Hajah Dayang Siti Norishan binti Haji Abdul Ghafor, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
