'Back2communities' Convention Closing Ceremony

​Aspect of caring for people with special need is indeed responsibility for all levels of society and building inclusive community is a commitment which has long been implemented in Brunei Darussalam. This matter was underscored by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports during the 'Back2Communities' Convention Closing Ceremony yesterday morning. Yang Berhormat then said that this is the 'whole of nation' approach that needs to be highlighted as a joint responsibility in providing opportunities for everyone to reach the full potential and as part of the community.
The best action plan competition was won by the BRAVE group. In the competition, 5 groups were presenting their respective action plan that required ideas and plans to be implemented. The 4-day convention was organised by the Youth Setter Community and sponsored by the United States Embassy in the country. The convention's goal is to provide experience and lessons on the supervision of people with special needs in the country.
