Singapore Police Cadets in Sultanate for 4-Day Exchange Visit

BERAKAS, BRUNEI-MUARA

 

Twenty-seven police cadets from the Singapore National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) arrived in the Sultanate yesterday for a four-day exchange visit hosted by the Royal Brunei Police Cadet Corps and the Co-Curriculum Education Department of the Ministry of Education (MoE).

 

Welcoming the delegation at the Brunei International Airport was Inspector Haji Khairol Azmi bin Haji Abdul Halim, Officer-in-charge of the Royal Brunei Police Cadet Corps.

 

The police cadets, Year 2 students from different Singaporean secondary schools are here accompanied by officers from the Singapore Police Force (SPF), teachers and youth leaders from Singapore.

 

Tan Kok Meng Paul, Head of Leadership & Community Services, NPCC said the annual exchange mainly focuses on cultural exchange programmes, that will allow the cadets to learn each other country's culture better and also work closely to build on the relationship and find ways to extend the scope of cooperation between the two Cadet Corps.

 

Among the programme being arranged in the four-day visit includes educational, cultural visits to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) units, as well as places of interest such as mosques and museums.
