​His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman, last night graced the prize presentation ceremony for the Brunei West Lake Tyres Open Badminton Championship. The ceremony took place at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Centre Point Hotel in Gadong.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's son, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim received a medal for a joint third place for the Under-14 boys singles category of the championship presented by Taufik Hidayat, former world number one badminton player from Indonesia. Also in attendance was His Royal highness the Crown Prince's daughter, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah. His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince also received a pasambah.

Meanwhile, the winners for each category also received their prizes and medals. The presentation was officiated by Taufik Hidayat. The championship which began on the 18th of August closed its curtains last night.
