His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam then delivered the titah of consent to confer the degrees and diplomas to the graduates.

UBD's achievements include expanded its programmes to be more flexible so that students can further their knowledge and improve their skills without the need to stop working. Since the Lifelong Learning Centre was established last year, several UBD faculties have offered flexible programmes that provide more opportunities and choices to the community in general.
Meanwhile, nearly 1,700 students are studying at the UBD-FPT Global Centre in Da Nang, Vietnam, which is the first UBD overseas campus. The campus was officiated by His Majesty in November last year. So far two cohorts of 35 ASEAN students who receive His Majesty's 5-year scholarships have successfully undertaken English Language programmes at the centre.
To invoke blessings for the ceremony, the State Mufti read the Doa Selamat.
His Majesty's presence at the ceremony reflected His Majesty's continued strong support which inspires all the UBD staff and students to continue enhancing and strengthening the UBD's position as an institution of higher learning that contributes to the country's progress and development.
