​The Speaker of the Legislative Council yesterday received a farewell visit from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Brunei Darussalam.

During the farewell visit, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib and His Excellency Doctor Fahad Mashary Al Thafiri expressed high appreciation for the good working relationship during His Excellency's service in the country.

Both sides hope that the good relationship will continue to prosper and strengthen between the two countries. Also present was Dayang Rose Aminah binti Haji Ismail, Deputy Clerk of the Legislative Council. The ceremony took place at the Dewan Majlis Building.
