​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon received in separate audiences the Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces and outgoing Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam.

His Majesty first received in audience His Excellency Lieutenant-General Melvyn Ong, Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces. Accompanying His Excellency was His Excellency Lim Hong Huai, High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam. Also present at the audience ceremony were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja (Retired) Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Second Minister of Defence; and Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

His Majesty then received in audience His Excellency Dr. Fahad Mashary Al Thafiri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Brunei Darussalam.

His Majesty then received in audience His Excellency Biravij Suwanpradhes, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam.
