7th Brunei Open & Masters Swimming Championship

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab-Rahaman, this afternoon watched the 7th Brunei Open & Masters Swimming Championship and the Brunei Darussalam National Games Swimming event. The championship took place at the National Swimming Pool, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was greeted by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Also in attendance were His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's children, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim; Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman.
Among those taking part in the championship was Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim representing the Royal Brunei Recreation Club in the 50 metres butterfly event for the male 7 to 24 year old category with a recorded time of 44 point 8-2 seconds.
Meanwhile, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah representing I-S-B Hammerheads took part in the female 7 to 24 year old 50 metres butterfly event with a recorded time of 1 minute 3 point 1-2 seconds and at the same time renewing Yang Teramat Mulia's personal best.
