​The 7th Brunei Open and Masters Swimming Championship resumed yesterday afternoon, where His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's children, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim and Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah took part in the event.

 

Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Muntaqim who represented the Royal Brunei Recreation Club took part in the 100-metres free style category for 7 years old and above, and recorded a time of one minute 27 point 9-3 seconds, and the 50-metres back stroke event for 7 years old and above with the time of 50 point 9-9 seconds.

 

Meanwhile, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah who represented I-S-B Hammerheads competed in the 100-metres freestyle category for 7 years old and above, and recorded a time of 2 minutes and 3 point 0-8 seconds, a new personal record for Yang Teramat Mulia. Yang Teramat Mulia also recorded a time of one minute 4 point 2-1 seconds in the 50-metres back stroke category for 7 years old and above.

 

Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanwati binti Hj Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education presented the prizes to Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah who succeeded in breaking her own personal record.
