​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message extending his heartfelt congratulations to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as members of the Royal family, the Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of their National Day.

 In the message, His Majesty expressed his great satisfaction for the warm friendship and close cooperation that have long enjoyed by the two countries and peoples and look forward to strengthening these important ties for the mutual benefit of both countries.

 Furthermore, His Majesty conveyed his appreciation to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for his kind invitation for His Majesty to visit Saudi Arabia, which His Majesty believed would further strengthen the much-valued brotherly ties between the two countries.

 In ending the message, His Majesty prayed that Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala bestow upon The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman and members of the Royal Family with continued good health and happiness and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with continued peace, progress and prosperity.
