2nd Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors Meeting

​His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah in a sabda stresses for the management of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah to give serious attention towards the efforts to further develop the Yayasan. His Royal Highness said that there is a need for appropriate attention to be given towards enhancing economic efforts. His Royal Highness who is also the Chairman of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors made the sabda at the 2nd meeting of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors. Yesterday morning's meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office at Jalan Perdana Menteri.

 

 Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Defence, as the Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.

 

 The function began with a reading of surah Al-Fatihah and doa selamat led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doktor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti, as the Second Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Committee of Governors.

 

 In his sabda, His Royal Highness also touched on the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex and inquires of the efforts made to attract visitors to the complex.

 

 The conditions of Kampung Bolkiah also gained His Royal Highness' attention. In his sabda, His Royal Highness personally believes that Kampung Bolkiah should be given the appropriate attention as it also portrays the care and attention of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah towards the village and the plight of its residents.

 

 Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah as a prestigious institution, has recently undergone an audit by the Audit Department, Prime Minister's Office, to ensure that the management of Yayasan is on the desired platform.

 

 Among those present were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, First Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Committee of Governors; members of the Yayasan Committee of Governors and Yayasan Board of Directors.
