​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday afternoon attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Deputy Ministers. The ceremony took place at Cheradi Laila Kenchana, Istana Nurul Iman.

Present at the ceremony was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.

The Letter of Appointment was read by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentera Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana, Pengiran Haji Alauddin bin Pengiran Paduka Tuan Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, the Grand Chamberlain.

 First to recite the oath was Doctor Awang Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Followed by Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, the Deputy Minister of Development, Ministry of Development.

 Doctor Awang Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Finance, Ministry of Finance and Economy on the 20th of September 2018. While Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Development, Ministry of Development on the 10th of August 2018.

Also present at the Swearing-In ceremony were;

 - Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim, Special Adviser to His Majesty and Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

 - Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

 - Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and the Second Minister of Finance and Economy;

- Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development;

 - And Datin Seri Paduka Dayang Hajah Elinda binti Haji C.A. Mohammad, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office.
