Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah celebrated its 26th Anniversary of its establishment with a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony. His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Chairman of Yayasan Committee of Governors graced the ceremony. The ceremony was held late this afternoon at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Building in the capital.

 Upon arrival His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy as the Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors and Dato Paduka Awang Haji Eddie bin Dato Paduka Haji Sunny, Managing Director of Yayasan.

 The function commenced with mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Syar'ie Judge.

 The reading of Surah Yassin and Doa Kesyukuran was also led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar.

Also in-attendance were members of the  Committee of Governors, members of the Yayasan Board of Directors and members of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund For Orphans Board of Trustees, officers and staff of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah as well as teachers of Sekolah Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah was established on the 5th of October 1992 as the foundation of His Majesty's charitable deeds and contributions and those of His Majesty's family.  It is the symbol of His Majesty's love and concern for the people and a facilitator for creating a secure and prosperous Brunei Darussalam community.
