His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia and His Excellency Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia as well to the Government and people of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of its 65th Independence Day.

In the message to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Majesty expressed his great satisfaction for the close and longstanding friendship and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Cambodia, and looked forward to opportunities to further expand these valuable ties for the mutual benefit of both countries.

Meanwhile, in similar message to His Excellency Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Majesty expressed his confidence that Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Cambodia will continue to nurture the close friendship and cooperation enjoyed by the two countries and people.

In ending the messages to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni and His Excellency Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, His Majesty extended his kindest regards and very best wishes to His Majesty and His Excellency for the continued prosperity of the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
