Fisheries Dept' to Wrap Up Seafood Carnival Today

MUARA, BRUNEI-MUARA
The five-day mini seafood carnival organised by the Fisheries Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, at the Fish Landing Complex in Muara will end its run today.
The highlight of the carnival is the sale of fish, prawn, crab and squid. Other products that are being sold include sea bass, pompano, grouper and red snapper.
Meanwhile, processed seafood products that are being sold include fish crackers, 'belacan' (shrimp paste), salted and dried fish and smoked fish, to name a few.
The event aims to assist local vendors to promote and sell their products. Fish products are being sold at reasonable prices.
