Conferment of RBAirF Honorary Pilot Wing

Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), has been conferred with the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) Honorary Pilot Wing. The conferment was with the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Minister of Defence and the Supreme Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).
The award was presented by Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The conferment of the award was in recognition for his service in advancing the ties between the RBAirF and the RTAF. Air Chief Marshal Chaiyapruk Didyasarin is in the country for an introductory visit after taking over as the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) on 1st October 2018. The investiture ceremony was held at the Royal Brunei Air Force Base in Rimba.
