His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Minister of Defence and Supreme Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF yesterday afternoon received in separate audiences the Chief of Defence Force of Malaysia, the outgoing High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Brunei Darussalam and the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. The audience ceremonies took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

 His Majesty first received in audience Yang Berbahagia General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Panglima Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Chief of Defence Force of Malaysia. Accompanying the Chief of Defence Force of Malaysia were Major General Dato Tengku Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim, Defence Operation and Training, Malaysian Armed Forces; and Mrs. Rafedah binti Aziz, Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence; and Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF.

Next His Majesty received in audience Her Excellency Nagma Mohamed Mallick, the outgoing High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Brunei Darussalam. Her Excellency presented her Letter of Credence to His Majesty on the 23rd of January 2016.

 His Majesty then received in audience Her Excellency Yang Jian, the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Her Excellency presented her Letter of Credence to His Majesty on the 26th of January 2015.
