Around 30 volunteers participated in a cleaning campaign at Kampong Bengkurong Mosque yesterday as part of welcoming the month of Ramadhan.

The campaign was organized by the Section-1 Maintenance under the Support and Vehicle Maintenance Division at Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department with the support of other sections under the department.

The volunteers, who also collaborated with members of the Kampong Bengkurong Mosque Takmir Committee, undertook cleaning activities which included grass and tree cutting as well as drainage and gutter cleaning as part of their efforts to beautify the mosque’s surroundings.

This was the second cleaning campaign organized by the section after its successful campaign at Kampong Pelambaian Mosque last year.
