The Tanmiatul 'Aqli or mind development programme is hoped to build curiosity as well as to explore the mind of participants and to spur interest towards participating in more activities, specifically community and voluntary ones.  Yang Berhormat Dayang Khairunnisa binti Awang Haji Ash'ari, Member of the Legislative Council outlined the matter during the Closing of Tanmiatul 'Aqli Programme and Presentation of Certificate Ceremony yesterday afternoon. Yang Berhormat Dayang Khairunnisa also emphasised that the programme would also cultivate leadership, communication skills and courage from a young age.

60 participants received certificates at the ceremony. The 2-day programme for children from 7 to 11 years old among other things aimed to fill their time with educational activity.  Besides that, it also aimed to cultivate cooperation, understanding and healthy interaction to build positive attitude among participants by showing good discipline.  The ceremony was organised by the Kampung Panchor Mangkubau National Housing Scheme Consultative Council in collaboration with the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee in Kampung Mentiri.
