Micronet International College (MIC) recently welcomed its March 2016 new students as well as those returning from school holidays during a special orientation event held at the college's Jerudong campus and Berakas Forest Reserve.

The two-day event featured various activities for the students and staff, according to a press release.

During the first day at Jerudong campus, lecturers presented briefings on the college rules and regulations, and extracurricular activities.

In addition to welcoming the students, the orientation aimed to bring out their imaginative ideas and creativity as the college organised artwork activities and showcase.

The second day took the participants to Berakas Forest Reserve for a series of outdoor activities and strategic team games.

It was followed by a welcoming lunch and a Special Merit Awards presentation to the students who have achieved outstanding results in their previous semester.

Lip Sync Battles and games were also conducted to promote fun during the welcoming lunch. Special prizes and giveaways were handed out to the participants.

The event was an opportunity to inspire students to strive for academic excellence without having to completely set aside light-hearted pleasures.
