His Highness' Audience with Newly-Appointed Envoys

​His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday morning received in audience newly appointed Brunei Darussalam envoys and newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam in separate audiences. The Audience Ceremonies took place at Qashr Al-Meezaan.

 

His Royal Highness first received in audience Her Excellency Dayang Hajah Masurai binti Haji Masri, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in Geneva, Swiss Confederation;

 

Her Excellency Dayang Hajah Noor Qamar binti Haji Sulaiman, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York, United States of America;

 

Her Excellency Pengiran Hajah Rooslina Weti binti Pengiran Haji Kamaluddin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom;

 

and His Excellency Awang Haji Adnan bin Haji Mohd. Ja'afar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

 

His Royal Highness then received in separate audiences the newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam. His Royal Highness first received in audience His Excellency Jassim Ali Abdullah Al Obaidli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency was previously Ambassador at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

 

His Royal Highness then received in audience His Excellency Ajaneesh Kumar, High Commissioner of the Republic of India to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency had held the post of Deputy Director General in the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) in New Delhi.

 

His Royal Highness then received in audience His Excellency Emad bin Abdul Aziz bin Saad Al Muhanna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam. His Excellency formerly served as Director of the Undersecretary Office for Protocol Affairs.

 

The newly appointed foreign envoys to Brunei Darussalam presented their Letters of Credence to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on 15th January 2019.
