Symposium on Novel Therapies in the Future of Cancer Care

To share insights on reshaping the treatment for cancer care in the future research studies that can suggest improving cancer care treatment, The Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre, PJSC, yesterday morning, conducted symposium on Novel Therapies in the Future of Cancer Care.

 

More than 100 medical professionals attended the symposium which featured two special guest speakers form Japan that are highly renowned and respected in the cancer research and treatment field. Professor Doctor Kanichi Seto and Professor Doctor Hiroshi Terunuma presented preliminary advice on the new treatment and inspect the centre's available immunotherapy laboratory facilities and human resources capacities and abilities. PJSC is currently exploring the setting up of immunotherapy laboratory and services. Immunotherapy or Immune Cell Therapy has been ongoing in Japan for over 15 years and PJSC will provide these services in Brunei as an add-on modality to the current therapies, as this is highly beneficial of cancer patients in the country.
