​In appreciation of the Rakan Seliaan or Supervised Partners (RS) who have shown encouraging positive developments through their efforts and dedication, last night, a Jalinan Kasih ceremony was held for the supervised partners and family at the Royal Brunei Recreation Club, RBRC. The event was organised by Riza Group in cooperation of Aftercare Brunei Darussalam (PROTEM) and Reintegration Section, Prisons Department.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, the Minister of Home Affairs. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid @ Haji Sabli bin Haji Arshad, Member of the Legislative Council; Awang Mohd Amir Hairil bin Haji Mahmud and Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut, Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Awang Haji Mustapa bin Haji Masri, Chairman of the Aftercare Brunei Darussalam Committee in his speech expressed hope that the supervised partners will continue to be patient and determined in facing challenges in a more excellent future and can make valuable contributions to their families, society, religion and country. The event ran concurrently with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the Aftercare committee members and 6 supervised partners. Aftercare Brunei Darussalam also received a contribution of 3 thousand dollars from Riza Group. The recipients comprise those who have been under the programme for more than 2 years and have shown dedication in being self-sufficient in entrepreneurship or employment as well as being active in several programmes, including those directed towards spirituality and society.
