Australian Islamic Photography Exhibition

The fascinating legacy of Australia's Islamic history and the impact it has on contemporary Australia, is highlighted in a photography exhibition currently held at Mabohai Shopping Complex. The 'Boundless Plains: The Australian Muslim Connection Photographic Exhibition' was launched yesterday morning.
The launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Her Excellency Nicola Rosenblum, High Commissioner of Australia to the country. In conjunction with the exhibition, representatives from the Islamic Museum of Australia, IMA are in Brunei to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. IMA is Australia's only Islamic museum and aims to provide educational and cross-cultural experiences for all ages. The exhibition is open to the public from the 28th of January to the 3rd of February. Also present was Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
