His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah says Arabic school is the pillar of worldly and afterlife education.

Hence, His Majesty stresses the need for its very good management and administration, including in aspects such as comfort and safety.  The Monarch emphasises safety is very important and cannot be compromised.  His Majesty made the titah during an unscheduled visit to Rimba Arabic School in Gadong this morning.  In the titah, His Majesty also highlights the greatness of the country's Arabic schools and the trend of Arabic school students transferring to general stream schools which His Majesty regards as backward step.
