His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory message to His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Pahang Darul Makmur on the occasion of His Majesty's proclamation as the Sixteenth Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia.

His Majesty praised to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for the long standing and close cooperation and friendship enjoyed by both Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. His Majesty is confident under His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah's leadership the close and friendly ties will act as a catalyst for continued prosperity and progress. In ending the message, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha pray that His Majesty The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Al-Marhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj and members of the Royal Family would always be in the best of health and under the protection of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
