Over 25 former students of the first intake of Mahad Islam Brunei (1991- 1997) recently organised a reunion which coincided with a Tahlil (prayers) for former teachers and students.

Held at Seri Kenangan Beach, the event marked 25 years since their enrolment into the Islamic college.

According to the organiser, Awang Haji Mohd Sharnizan bin Haji Sharbini, the activity aimed to forge closer ties.

The former students expressed their gratitude to former teachers for the meritorious service and hoped that such friendship would continue to flourish and lasts forever.
