Chief of TUDM Conferred With Royal Brunei Air Force Honorary Pilot Wing

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has consented to confer the Royal Brunei Air Force Honorary Pilot Wing to the Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, TUDM. The award was in recognition for the service rendered by General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Affendi bin Buang in advancing ties between the two air forces.
The conferment of the Honorary Pilot Wing was held yesterday morning at the Rimba Air Force Base. Upon arrival, General Tan Sri received the Honorary Salute by the Guard of Honour comprising personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force.
The presentation of the Honorary Pilot Wing was officiated by Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Apart from the conferment ceremony, General Tan Sri is in Brunei Darussalam for his introductory visit to the Royal Brunei Air Force.
