Touching on the economy, His Majesty says Brunei Darussalam is not left behind in building a conducive environment at the international level by joining several Free Trade Agreements with regional and international partners in providing marketing opportunities to the said countries. The Monarch adds Brunei will soon finalise consultations on the Regional Comprehensive Economy Partnership (RCEP) which is an agreement on economic cooperation between the members of ASEAN and six other nations comprising Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea and New Zealand which will open a massive trading market to more than 3 billion people.
