The Senior Citizens Action Plan contains a vision towards healthy and active senior citizens who can contribute to the country's development. This includes facing the challenges of the 4th industrial revolution. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports welcomes the involvement of senior citizens in the digital era, equipped with info-technology skills. Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports shared the matter in response to the query voiced by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Hasrin bin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Sabtu.
Yang Berhormat the minister said that the ministry will continue to provide a platform for the senior citizens in particular the activity centre and BESTARI community centre as a step forwards in giving support towards I.T. skills as one of the centre's activities. Such activities focuses on online activities which will take advantage of lessons on digital economy and Instagram applications as an entrepreneurial platform or in communicating with the younger generation.
