The daily prayers are the pillar of Islam, thus Muslims must perform solat or the prayer properly and sincerely. One who performs the prayer early will be blessed more by Allah the Almighty. The matter was the highlight of a special talk during the Isra' Mi'raj celebration organised by the Prime Minister's Office and departments under it yesterday afternoon.

 The talk titled "Sembahyang Membentuk Umat Bertaqwa" or "Prayer Shapes a Pious Ummah" was delivered by Doctor Andas Haji Ismuhadi bin Haji Abdullah, Islamic Da'wah Centre Lecturer. In the talk, he also spoke about the rewards for those who perform mass prayers at the mosque.

 In attendance were, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Yang Di-Pertua of Adat Istiadat Negara. The Isra' Mi'raj celebration is organised annually to commemorate the night journey of Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam and the lessons learnt from the event. The celebration was conducted by the Security and Enforcement Division and Brunei Research Department at the Prime Minister's Office.
