The Information Youth Peer Programme organised by the Information Department is hoped to instil patriotism and social responsibility among the youth. Yesterday morning, the programme which was organised by the Information Department of Belait District Branch was extended to Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Secondary School in Kuala Belait.

More than 5 Hundred and 50 students comprising of Year 7, 9 and 10 attended the programme. The programme was highlighted with singing, poetry and acting performances. Present was Dayang Mainah bte Muhamad Masdi, the Education Officer of the Schools Department, Ministry of Education. The programme also aims to raise awareness among students on the country's current development and current affairs.
