​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon received in audience Yang Berhormat Dr. Maszlee bin Malik, Minister of Education of Malaysia. The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman. Yang Berhormat Dr. Maszlee and delegation are in the country for a working visit to discuss and exchange views on matters in the field of education with the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam, including bilateral cooperation and continuing efforts under the Joint Working Group for the benefit of both countries.

Accompanying Yang Berhormat were His Excellency Ismail bin Haji Salam, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the country; Yang Berbahagia Professor Dr. Mohd. Cairul Iqbal bin Mohd. Amin, Director-General of Education; Yang Berbahagia Dr. Muhammad Adli bin Musa, Senior Confidential Secretary to Yang Berhormat the Minister of Education, Malaysia; Yang Berbahagia Professor Emiritus Ir. (Ingenieur) Dr. Mohd. Azraai bin Kassim, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM); Yang Berbahagia Professor Datuk Dr. Osman bin Bakar, Chairholder of Al-Ghazali of Epostemology and Civilisational Studies and Renewal / Shaikh Al-Kulliyyah, International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation (ISTAC), International Islamic University Malaysia (UIAM); and Yang Berbahagia Dr. Rahimi bin Osman, Dean of the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies, UiTM.

Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education.
