A dying bulldog puppy is completing an adorable bucket list that has seen her enjoy rides on a plane, gondola and sports car.

Katie the English bulldog has also been declared an honorary firefighter and police officer.

The little dog suffers from a birth defect that affects her liver, and which is likely to severely limit her life span.

Owner Debbie Pack, from Kansas City, began sharing Katie’s adventures online, with the gorgeous dog soon attracting a host of fans.

She told KMBC: ‘We decided instead of focusing on (her health), we were going to focus on the bucket list.

‘It has been extremely amazing to see these people come together, to make things happen.’

Bucket lists of wishes people want to fulfill before kicking the proverbial bucket and dying have become popular since the mid-2000s.

And Katie has completed many of hers in style, wearing a flying jacket, cap and goggles for her trip on a plane.

The much loved pet has also donned a series of elegant dresses for her more genteel adventures, including the gondola ride.

Donations have also poured in from well-wishers who hope that veterinarians may be able to extend the dog’s life with specialized treatment.

But regardless of whether it succeeds, Katie’s owners are determined to ensure she enjoys her remaining time as much as possible.
