Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan bin Pengiran Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abas, President of PESTABARU, confirmed this during a press conference and meeting for the competition committee members comprising of the association's committee members - at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas yesterday.
He said that this year will mark the 5th edition of the tournament since it was first introduced in 2011 adding that it will be open to all government departments, private sector companies, schools, colleges, youth and sport associations and mukims as well as sports clubs nationwide.
Entry will be charged at BND$30 and each team must comprise five players, one manager and one head coach.

"I believe we are able to polish new talent and can acquire more potential players to be absorbed to the national team in the regional and international stage to bring the name of the country at these major championships," asserted the president.
The president has also confirmed the hosting of the 4th International Sepak Takraw Federation (ISTAF) Super Series though a date has yet to be finalised during an interview with the media on the side-lines of the press conference.
On the international front, he added that they are expecting to take part in the King's Cup in Thailand and the Beach Sepak Takraw in Vietnam in the final quarter of 2016.

Keeping the team in good shape and competitively ready, Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan shared that the sepak takraw players train Mondays to Thursdays at the Menglait Sports Complex at 8pm and gym work at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium's gym on Saturdays.
