Are you ready for a move, but not sure where to go?

Well, hem and haw no further. The minds behind a new, free web app called Teleport hope to take the guesswork out of picking your new home city by making a few suggestions based on parameters you choose.

"Explore the best cities based on your personal preferences," Teleport says on its website. "We'll lend you a hand with preparing and executing the move."

Getting started is pretty easy.

Just sign up and select the things that are important to you in a city like "living costs," "start up scene," "housing," "great university" and others.

The app also has a spot for career, though options are limited. (Ahem, there's no "writer" option.)

From there, the web app will spit out an initial list of cities that might be perfect as your future home.

Once that list comes in, you can further refine your preferences to control for things like weather, population size, startup scene and other options.

Teleport even gives you an estimated budget amount you'd save (or spend) if you were to move to one of the chosen cities.

If you do decide to move to one of those cities (or any other city, really), Teleport has a checklist you can use to make sure you're on track to change location.

And if you get stalled, for a fee, the company will provide a "scout" that can help problem solve something like finding a job or getting the correct visa.

Happy hunting!
