Quiz competition builds confidence ahead of exams

In an effort to strengthen students’ preparation for the Religious Primary School Certificate Examination (SSSRU) and enhance their knowledge, the Brunei I Religious Schools Leaders Committee organised the An-Najah Programme, a quiz competition themed ‘Cergas, Cerdas dan Pantas’ (Active, Intelligent and Fast).

The final round of the competition at Pengiran Anak Puteri Masna Religious School, involved the four best teams that qualified from the preliminary rounds.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by welcoming remarks from chairman of the Brunei I Religious Schools Leaders Committee Mohammad Halidi bin Awang Haji Besar.

The programme continued with the quiz competition, followed by the presentation of prizes to the winners by Head of the Examinations Division at the Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs Azman bin Haji Jaya, the guest of honour, and concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat.

The programme serves as a platform to strengthen students’ religious knowledge, sharpen their ability to think quickly and accurately, and build their confidence in preparation for the upcoming SSSRU examination. – Lyna Mohamad
