In conjunction with the Hari Raya 'Idil Fitri celebration by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the ' Membudayakan Belia Pemedulian dan Prihatin' exhibition highlighted  the volunteering and community programmes conducted by students of local higher education institutions. His Majesty took a closer look at the exhibition which was held at the Lobby of the International Convention Centre in Berakas. In attendance were His Majesty's sons, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al- Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Earlier, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri signed the Commemorative Parchment and Their Majesties' portrait produced by the Islamic Calligraphy and Art Study Centre of Yayasan.

The Yayasan Volunteer Programme which involved the participation of local youths was highlighted in the exhibition. This year's celebration theme also emphasised the need to enculture volunteering and community spirit among students.

Also featured were youths who have received national, regional and international awards in the field of volunteering and community service.

The ceremony was able to inspire and stimulate the participants to enculture an attitude of care and concern. Since it was held in 2003, the Yayasan Hari Raya ' Idil Fitri celebration gathered participants from various backgrounds each year.
