BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

Shooting Stars conducted a one-day basketball clinic facilitated by two American basketball players Carl Montgomery and Udun Osakue.

The Americans, who played for Juramas in the recently concluded SpeedSend Cup, were excited to be part of the clinic.

In an interview, the 6'8 Carl Montgomery said, "Carrips like this are very important for basketball to grow. During my off season in the United States, I always took time off to teach kids aged 5 to 15 years old on the fundamentals of basketball in the Super Star basketball camp."

Guard Udun Osakue added, "This is a great way for kids to be exposed to basketball."

Ken Han, founder of Shooting Stars, said, "We want to inspire the kids to play basketball. Fitness Zone and Shooting stars approached Juramas and they agreed to do the clinic."

Besides learning basketball skills, the children were also given an opportunity to learn about the discipline, training and lifestyle of a professional basketball player in a question and answer session.

A total of 49 children took part in the clinic.
