Thirty participating coaches who have attended the first-ever FIFA Domestic Youth League Coaching Course have been advised to fully utilise its benefits in order to uplift the standard of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Under-16 Youth League.
The participating coaches are understood to be already recognised in the country in the field of football, said member of NFABD's Executive Committee Rosdin bin Haji Abdul Aziz as the guest-of-honour during his remarks in the closing ceremony of the FIFA Domestic Youth League Coaching Course at the NFABD House yesterday.
Rosdin emphasised that the course will provide the participants added value and invaluable knowledge in organising teams which are competing in the Under-16 league this year.
"My call towards the participants is to bring and share their findings which they have obtained from this course to members of the management and teams which are under their guidance because it will only further strengthen their preparations in setting up the under-16 players," said Rosdin.
Rosdin also hoped that the course will act as the starting point for other relevant and appropriate courses in the efforts of NFABD through the Football Development Department, which is spearheaded by Mike Wong, NFABD Technical Director.
The coaching course, which commenced on Monday, was led by a FIFA instructor from Uzbekistan, Islam Akhmedov.
