Several strategies and actions are outlined in the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports for the years 2020-2024 which supports the main focus of 2021 and 2022, namely 'Towards Resilient Socio-Economic Development'.  Among the main strategies of the Ministry is to review policies, acts and guidelines as well as examine the needs and update action plans to be more in line and meet current needs. During the Muzakarah or Discussion Session with the Members of the Legislative Council, Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports explained that 9 major achievements have been implemented.

Namely, the Old Age Pensions and Disability Allowances Act (Amendment) 2021 and Persons with Disabilities Order.  Review strategies and action plans under the National Council on Social Issues; Ensure the provision of allowances to those who are entitled to receive; Strengthen the support system for OKU; Enhancing adequate economic self-sufficiency through occupational and entrepreneurial skills and Leveraging the facilities of digital systems and technology.

The National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020-2035 launched in December 2020 is the basic of all initiatives implemented for youth. Strengthen the identity of the nation through various programme and cultural activities, historical and heritage. Focus on efforts to develop High Performance Sports to develop elite athletes who can win medals in high performance sports at the regional and international levels.

The delegation of the members of the legislative council was led by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohimin bin Haji Johari @ Jahari. The session took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
