Three families who fell victim to collapsed house incidents and a house fire in Brunei Muara District received financial aid from the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam though Department of Community Development, JAPEM allocation.

The financial aid was presented by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The house owned by Pengiran Haji Muhd Hazri bin Pengiran Haji Johari at Kampung Pengkalan Sibabau collapsed on the 22nd of February, while the house of Dayang Jalinah Sam Hamid at Kampung Sungai Besar collpased on the 27th of February. Meanwhile, the house owned by Dayang Hajah Asmah binti Haji Tamin at Kampung Sungai Tampoi was gutted in a fire on the 27th of February. The function took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.
