(KPL) ASA Foundation of the Republic of Korea has donated 10 emergency vehicles worth more than US$300,000 to the Lao National Assembly for distribution to Vientiane and Saravan provinces and the Lao Red Cross Society.

The handover took place on March 22 between President of ASA Foundation Jeong Sung Jin, and Deputy Secretary of the Lao National Assembly Bounthan Boonvilay in the presence of Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Lao PDR Im Moo Hong and representatives of relevant authorities of both sides.

On this occasion, ASA Foundation of the Republic of Korea and the Lao National Assembly also signed an five-year cooperation agreement to contribute to strengthening the relations and cooperation between the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Republic of Korea.

The ambassador and the delegation of ASA Foundation also paid a courtesy call to Vice President of the National Assembly Khambay Damlath to brief him about the activities of the visiting delegation and its intent to open ASA office in Laos.
