85 people received outstanding awards at the Excellent Award Ceremony in conjunction with the Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB Convocation Ceremony 2021. The ceremony took place yesterday afternoon at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

The awards were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education. Of the total 38 graduates received the Outstanding Award, 8 received the Staff Outstanding Award, 29 received the Dean's List Award, 6 received the Co-Curriculum Award and 4 received the Best Final Year Project Award from the Public's Choice. At the ceremony, a graduate received the first UTB Chancellor's Medal and a graduate received the Vice-Chancellor's Medal. Also present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Mat Suny bin Haji Md Hussien, Minister of Energy.
