Latest COVID-19 Situation in Brunei Darussalam. 7 COVID-19 cases are in Category 4 and no case in Category 5.  Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated the matter at a Media Conference on the Latest COVID-19 Situation in the country yesterday afternoon. Joining the media conference at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs.

 

686 new cases have been reported yesterday, taking the total cases to 134,412. Of the new cases, 615 were from ART results that was uploaded to the BruHealth application, and 71 were from 1,546 RT-PCR laboratory tests. 1,260 cases have recovered, bringing the total recovered cases to 129,230, with 4,974 cases remaining active. 98 active cases are in isolation centres and hospitals, whereas 4,876 positive cases are currently undergoing home self-isolation. As of 30th March 2022, 61.3 percent of the total population have received third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
